Spent the day with the lovely Talia, who will be leaving for Germany in a couple of day's time. Seeing I'm leaving for Montreal in mid-Aug, this will be my last time seeing her :D. We spent a lazy day walking paths to old fortifications and swamps. It's lovely discovering new surreal places o_O. We also picked a whole lot of purple sea shells...

(She's holding an old edition of British Folklore by Katherine Briggs, btw :D. It has a pretty cover. It's my farewell gift to her <3)

We collected sea shell-shards of periwinkle and pale pink...

Strangely, there was another old fort at a distant, albeit a smaller one. If anyone knows what they're for, tell me! I'm curious to knwo if they actually serve/served a funciton o_o

Climbing rocks <3

It was uninhabited, till a group of tourist-like people romped in with their bicycles o_O

I'm definitely spending more time at this cafe drawing and what-not, preferably on a rainy/overcast day <3

more here

A glimpse into my notebook...

I'm a rabid doodler, so yes... Poem is from Rimbaud :D "Comme le loup, je me consume" (Like the wolf, I consume myself)

Pretty much done :D Trying to decide if I want to include the crying child. Other than that, it's all ready for copying + colouring. Also: designing the back! The fun part!
(Admittedly, I haven't been working on it much, yes

Yes, it was a beautiful, sky-filled day :D. We just spent a lot of time talking and collecting shells with the wind constantly sweeping our hair >_> (hah, one of the rare people with wavy hair like me XD)

you look like you have the sort of life that should fill the pages of a novel...long delightful sunny days, and your journal is a thing of beauty[I'm a huge fan of Rimbaud myself[it's where my name comes from?:D]]I think your drawings seem very fitting...I could see them illustrating the "Illuminations"particularly?:)
